We expect people to give us what we want and when they don’t, we get frustrated and angry. Finding your purpose

·         Be sensitive and become bigger than yourself

Wish others happiness just as much as you want your own and understand rather than condemning. By doing this you will be able to find your purpose in life.

Realize that if others treat you bad it’s not always about you but their suffering; therefore do not bury yourself in self pity thinking that you are not good enough. Dust off the dirt and move on.

·         See how you can help

It is possible that you can achieve all you want (money, good career, good home and can afford finer things that money can buy) but not happy. This unhappiness would include the fear of loosing all these things and you spend most of your time keeping it from eroding and forget about yourself.

There are times we may not know what to do in order to help; you can do a simple thing such as listening and you never know the impacting you will be creating to the other party.

·         Identify what your favorite things are; both in the past and now

What makes you smile? What makes you feel great about yourself, what inspires you most, what are you naturally good at, what do people typically ask you for help in, what would you regret not fully doing or having in your life, what are your deepest values, what are the challenges and difficulties, hardships you have overcome and how did you do it. What causes you to strongly believe in, if you could get a message across a large group of people who would these people be and what would the message be?

·         At times you shouldn’t listen to what others say about you

Does whatever people say about you agree with our passion, internal convictions and gifting? If it doesn’t then follow your heart and do what you want to

·         Discover your talent/gift

Gifts are like little seeds planted inside us but for them to grow we have to use them. If you can’t identify your gift then start doing new things that interests you and there it might be revealed to you.

If you are not living each day with excitement, energy and passion then you are not true to your purpose. The amazing thing about living your purpose is that you never realize the much you have done because it is natural. Each day you do something you feel so much fulfilled and it doesn’t matter whether someone appreciates or not.
